Holownia, Alex

Al treasured all the responsibilities and experiences of thirty years at CFRN Television. Starting in 1963, on Valentine’s Day, his love of the broadcasting business grew steadily. First as an audio operator, Al moved to video switching, then Tele-Cine.

As his career advanced, Al became a Production Assistant, then Director of CFRN’s popular Eyewitness News program. He went on to be Commercial Director, and then to Program Producer and Director.

While Al continued to be active in the business community following his retirement from television, the world of broadcasting is the one which is of prime interest in his life.
