ODEGARD, Elmer Morten “Mort” – August 8, 1937 – March 19, 2010 – Mort passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Pauline; son James Odegard; daughter Koni Kiss; son Anton Nerland; stepchildren: Gwen Eleniak, Mathew Playter, Eldon Playter, Chad Courchene; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings: Alma, Joann and Ernest; numerous nieces, nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews. Mort was predeceased by his father Johan and his mother Ester. A Funeral Service will be held in Lougheed, AB on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend Ron Hobden and Reverend Elaine Hobden officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held in Edmonton, AB on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church, 5420 – 19 A Avenue, Edmonton with Reverend Mark Hornig officiating.
