Michael Becker died from Leiomyosarcoma on January 16, 2011, in Edmonton at age 56.  He was born on November 26, 1954, and worked for the CBC radio drama department, the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton and the National Film Board where he made documentaries.  Though he is best known for his series “Acorn the Nature Nut”.
