SCHWANKE, Edgar Reinhold September 25, 1920 – June 18, 2008. Ed will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. Edgar Reinhold Schwanke, beloved husband of 61 years to Margaret (Stoltz), went home to his Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the age of 87. Edgar (Ed) Schwanke was born in Bruderheim, Alberta on September 25, 1920. He married Margaret Stoltz on June 17, 1947. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret and children: Sandra Schwanke, Beth Falch-Nielsen, Kim Schwanke (Margaret Trella), Ralph Schwanke (Noreen), Maureen Munsterman (Ryne), Ken Schwanke (Dee-Ann). Grandchildren: Kaj Falch-Nielsen, Sacha Falch-Nielsen, Ty, Danielle and Brooke Munsterman, Luke, Emily, Anna, and Isaiah Schwanke, Amanda, Adelle, and Andrea Payne, as well as several nieces and nephews, friends and extended family. A Celebration of Ed’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on Range Road 232 in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Viewing to take place one hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
