CANDY, Eric Charles

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Eric Candy; father, grandfather, husband, WWII Veteran, broadcaster, actor, mentor and friend.

Eric’s generous spirit touched many lives and his strength of character was an inspiration to those close to him.

Eric was predeceased by his loving wife Alma in 1999. He leaves to mourn his three daughters Katherine (Gerry) Jenkins, Christina (Gary) Fryer and Claire Megan (David) Lonsdale; and by his son Fraser (Sally) Candy; as well as 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A Celebration of Eric’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, at the Unitarian Church, 12530 – 110 Avenue in Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Good Samaritan’s Choices program would be preferred. Simply Cremations and Funeral Services of Edmonton in care of arrangements. 9331-35 Avenue. 465-6363.
