FONTAINE, Normand Lionel

It is with deep sadness that we announce Normand’s passing on November 25, 2014 at the age of 77 years.

His wife Adele and family would like to invite friends to attend a Celebration of Normand’s Life which will be held at the Truc Lam Buddhist Temple, 11328 – 97 Street, Edmonton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2014.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alex Janvier Gallery, Box 8130, Cold Lake, AB, T9M 1N1.

Biography

Normand Fontaine, an announcer with CHFA, died this past week.  He was 77 and died from complications following surgery.

Normand was born in Peace River and joined CHFA in 1958.  He worked for over three decades with French radio.  Normand also was a talented visual artist.
