ROULSTONE, B.K. (Don)
November 11, 1921 – April 18, 2013
It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Don Roulstone, age 91, on April 18, 2013. He passed peacefully with family by his side.
He was born in Leicester, England, but spent many years in Derbyshire. He relocated to Canada in 1969 and worked for CFRN in Edmonton, later retiring in Sidney, BC. He spent his final years back in Edmonton to be close to family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son Dave (Janice) grandchildren Sandy, Christy and A.J. Daughter Patricia, grandson Curt (Shauna) and family, plus extended family Glenn (Shawn), Andrew ( Paivi) and family and his many relatives in England.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Doris in 2008, and his siblings Sybil, Victor and Allan.
We wish to thank the management and staff at Rosedale for their special care and attention, and the many friends that kept a watchful eye out for Dad as his memory declined. Also thanks to Unit 51/52 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
A small Celebration of his Life will be held Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Rosedale Chapel 2nd floor 10107 – 111 Street (The Villa) at 12:45 p.m.
