Donald Shea passed away in October 2020. Originally from Toronto, he spent most of his life in Edmonton, graduating from St. Joseph High School.

Don was at CFRN-TV in the 1980s and CBXT-TV in the 1990s, remaining a CBC fan until his death. He is remembered at both stations for his love of life and his time spent socially with his co-workers.

Don is survived by his son Liam and brother Art.
